Vote for a person who has ASKED for your vote and worked to EARN your vote. DON’T water down that vote by giving it to others who haven’t asked for it nor earned it. 

This is a non-partisan race; voting “Straight Party” won’t log a vote for anyone in a non-partisan race. You still have to vote individually for non-partisan races/candidates.  

 As they describe themselves, "The Campbell County Conserva­tion District partners with citizens and private landowners as well as other organizations to promote the sustainability of the land, water, and other natural resources by encouraging the use of Best Management Practices. We do this by providing expertise, and financial assistance, and by hosting educational programs. "

 Historically, representation on and awareness of the CCCD has been limited in the urban and suburban communities of Campbell County. I am committed to changing that by increasing outreach and ensuring that the valuable resources of the CCCD are readily accessible to all residents, regardless of where they live. By promoting equitable access, we can empower every community in Campbell County to engage in conservation efforts that benefit us all. 

 The most pressing issues for the CCCD are (1) Soil health and erosion control; (2) Water quality and conservation; (3) Climate change adaptation and resilience; (4) Balancing urbanization and development with conservation needs; (5) Invasive species management; (6) Community engagement and education; (7) Funding and resource allocation 

 My top priorities for Campbell County are to help our residents conserve natural resources and adapt to climate change. I aim to achieve this by (1) building greater AWARENESS of the CCCD and its available resources; (2) Advancing more ACCESS to these resources throughout all of Campbell County; (3) creating the ACTION we need to make a real impact starting now! AWARENESS, ACCESS, ACTION! 

 As a seasoned professional in the financial services industry with over three decades of experience, I have a proven track record of allocating resources, analyzing returns on investments and minimizing unnecessary expenses. Having spent over 50 years as a lifelong resident of Campbell County, I have witnessed firsthand the changes and challenges brought by development, and recently climate change. My deep roots in this community, combined with my energetic leadership and activism, enable me to forge the personal connections necessary to drive meaningful progress and ensure resources are allocated efficiently and effectively. 

• Married to his wife Kellye for 20+ years, with two adult children and one precious granddaughter
• Has lived throughout Campbell County for 50+ years, now residing in Newport KY
• Active Outing Leader and Legislative Chair for the NKY Sierra Club, and has received their political endorsement
• Volunteer and member of the Board of Directors of the Emergency Shelter of NKY
• Honorably discharged veteran of the US Army Reserves
• Chairperson of the City of Newport KY Tree Board 
• Member of the General Taylor Park Committee for the City of Newport
• Graduate of both the Campbell County Citizens Academy and Newport Citizens Academy
• Active member and previous Vice-Chair of Newport's Westside Citizens' Coalition
